This press release is in response to the “war mongering” speech delivered by the illegal, humbug current president of Somaliland Colonel Muse Bihi in regards to the ceremonial festival of the International Women’s day (March 8th, 2018) in Hargeisa – The capital of Somaliland.
United Somaliland front believes that the speech of the alleged, unlawful president of Somaliland did not properly address its intentions (International Women’s day) but advocated, endorsed and tried to precipitate war against the government of Somalia who saw the triple sided agreement between DP World, Ethiopia and Somaliland on Berbera port as an illegitimate action and an unlawful agreement.
United Somaliland Front’s government in exile, who supports and urges the rebirth of the Somali unity in general and that of Somaliland in particular here by declares that it opposes anything that advocates and/or endorses a state or period of armed hostility between Somalia and Somaliland.
United Somaliland Front stands to save our young generations from the scourge of war and is ready to stand in the way of destruction of Somali life anywhere. USF reaffirms faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the Somali people. Somaliland United Front opposes the shedding of the Somali blood. The only way we advocate hostilities and blood shed is when defending the religion, Somali pride and when the sovereignty gets into a danger zone.
Stability is the norm for United Somali Front. We stand to maintain the international peace and security. United Somaliland Front supports the development of friendly relations among nations based on respect. We strive for the maintenance of peaceful coexistence between neighboring countries. We believe in the mutual respect for each other’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
United Somaliland Front promotes trade and cultural intercourse between nations as a whole and between neighboring countries in particular. But we oppose the hostile takeover of our assets by foreign companies. The world has seen like this before as witnessed by the big “British East Indian Company”. USF will not accept the actions of DP World and its attempt for the hostile takeover of Berbera port.
Lastly, United Somaliland Front urges the civilized world to intervene the hostilities being exercised by DP World as being supported by the government of the United Arab Emirates. USF also demands from the Somali federal government to exert a driving or impelling force to defend the Somali territory. USF urges the Somali Federal Government to open its eyes to the changing Geopolitical storms in the region.
United Somaliland Front here by reminds the Somali people the importance of the oneness of our minds and feelings to defend our assets. We (Somalis) must be all in this together. Together we can defeat the hostile takeover of DP World and its allies.
